Building Food Resilience
As a core tenet of our organization, the Marshfield Resilience Hub directs & supports many ongoing projects to build food resilience in our community.
2026
Farmers Market
Saturdays, 10-1 June 6th - September 19th
Community Garden
Inspired by the efforts in Calais, last summer the Marshfield Resilience Hub encouraged our neighbors to ‘Grow an Extra Row’ to support those who may be struggling with food insecurity; an effort we aim to continue in 2026!
After losing our past garden to flooding in 2023, we are grateful for our devoted volunteers who helped make a new garden a reality.
Many of our community led Skill Shares are focused on growers, from pollination, seed saving, and canning your harvest, there is always something new to learn and to teach.
If you are interested in donating produce for our Grow an Extra Row or time and/or resources for the Community Garden, please reach out to Marshfieldrh@gmail.com
Farmers Market
2026 Farmers Market is Saturdays at the Old Schoolhouse Commons. Stop by and enjoy skill shares, live music, and the various local offerings from our vendors
If you are interested in vending, performing live music, or leading a skill share, please reach out to Marshfieldrh@gmail.com
Community Pantry
Located in the upstairs hallway of the Old Schoolhouse Common Building, the Marshfield Resilience hub & the Jaquith Public Library operate a passive system food cabinet that is available to all. Open whenever the building is, take what you need, donate when you can.
Community fridge & pantry expansion coming soon!
Additional resources are available at the Marshfield Village Store whose community cupboard is located on the porch in Summer and to the right of the doorway in Winter.
